Author and artist Jane Yevgenia Muschenetz fled Soviet Ukraine for the United States as a child. Her work spans poetry, public speaking, and visual art with a focus on legitimacy, civic ethics, and the narratives that hold economic and human systems together.
Her work appears in MIT Technology Review, KPBS Midday Edition, Spoken Word Paris, and elsewhere. Recent honors include first place in the 2025 National Press Women Communications Prize and San Diego Writers Festival's 2024 Poetry Collection of the Year. Jane earned her MBA from MIT Sloan and her BA in Political Science from UC San Diego.
